January 2 --temp 103.5

Temp. 102.6 left ear

           103.5 rt ear

Headed to primaries (the clinic not ER since it's during business hours. So much better than ER)

Just got checked in and accessed in the clinic. Having issues with port return and going in. Finally got blood return for blood tests. On IV getting antibiotics but not going in right so we are working on different position to see if it will work better. Port not working right. She wasn't too happy during access but is calm now.

It was equipment issue. Port is fine. The "clave" (I think) on IV wasn't working. Got a new one and is working good now. Yay

Her temp is still 103.5 Her heart rate is high 150 (they said common with fever) so they are giving her IV fluid now to help that. Hopefully going to get some Tylenol soon to get her fever down. She is very tired.

Dr just came in with her counts and her ANC 100

So yup we are sleeping here😢 moving to a room soon

She's chillin while the dr and nurses get her all set up. She's a little out of it. Really tired. And says she doesn't feel good.

She is now watching sleeping beauty. Waiting for her bacon.

She has the rhinovirus 

Which is pretty much a cold. Not to serious. For her to go home her ANC has to go up to at least 500. And no fever for 24 hrs. She probably has what sterling has and he hasn't gone 24 hrs without a fever for 10 days. So that's not good. So who knows how long she's here. They've already said at least 48 hrs.

January 3

Night was Good. She slept all night

Except when we woke her. Her temp didn't come down with the Tylenol so they gave her ibuprofen (bout11pm) since her platelets were good in her blood work they said she would be ok getting it. Her heart rate finally went down to 105 around midnight. It was back up to 140 this morning. Her temp has been ok this morning around 100. But it's starting to go up. She is getting more lethargic and chills. Her dr just came in. Her ANC is still at 100. They stop her chemo (the pill she takes every night) while her numbers are so low. 

She gained 2 1/2 lbs yesterday. That's how much fluid they pumped into her. She didn't pee all night so she was pretty dehydrated. Except for saying she doesn't want to be here and wants to go home she's good. Oh and that she misses her dad and wants to see him. Haha

October 13. Make a Wish unveiling

Make a Wish finished Brinleys wish and we had an unveiling party. We had so much fun. Brinley loved it all. She woke up first thing the next morning and right back out to the new "princess castle".  We had this playhouse in our backyard. So make a wish came and turned it into a princess castle. They added the balcony and bridge. And turned a window into a door upstairs for the balcony. Repainted the inside. Replaced the carpet. Replaced windows. Recovered the furniture. Gave her new kitchen furniture and toys and princess dresses. And so much more. Also an amazing artist carved her a new front door. There are princess and fairies on it. Which is what she asked for. Pictures just don't do it justice. They were all so kind. Plus all of the people who worked on it volunteered their time as well as supplies. They are such kind and generous people. And they thanked us for letting them work on it. But we are the thankful ones. We are so grateful for all of their hard work and time and love for a little girl they didn't know. Brinley, as well as her family and friends will enjoy this for many years to come. 

Thank you to all of our friends and family who came to support Brinley. We feel of your great love for us. It helps us make it through everyday, especially the really hard ones.

October 24. Make a Wish Halloween party

Make a Wish trick or treat party. Make a Wish does a lot of fun activities.  They had a blast. Got lots of candy

Accessed and all hooked up to IV. Watching a movie waiting for blood tests to come back. IV antibiotic started. She's not been the happiest/nicest little girl. But in her defense she doesn't feel good and is frankly just sick of being poked she is doing better now that they are done messing with her. 

7:00pm

Her ANC came back at 1000 so we are coming home. They are doing a urine test now. When that's back we get to leave.

9:10pm 

Urine came back clean. We are out of there. On our way home 

 

September 27 playin in the rain

Nothin better than playing in the rain collecting worms. 

September 25 made count!!!

Long day we started the round today. She made count. Yay!!  She has done this round before and it made her pretty nauseated. 

Working on getting accessed. She was not happy to do this today. But she had a back poke so she was fasting and our appt wasn't til 1pm. Fasting and tired do not mix so well. 

Finally accessed. 

Could not get blood return had to wait for prescription to come up and then had to wait for that to work. But finally we got blood return.

Waking up. I had 18 noses and 4 eyes. It was pretty cute to watch. Common when coming out of sedation.

Sept. 17-23 Round postponed

The round that was supposed to start on September 15 was postponed because she didn't make count. Which means her ANC number was too low. Her ANC was 700 and has to be at least 750 for her to get her chemo this round. She is rescheduled for a blood draw on September 24. If she makes count then they will start the chemo on Thursday the 25th. 

A lady Troy met at a gun show made this blanket for Brin and mailed it to her. How sweet is that. People are so kind. 

She got this cute hat from one of my bestest friends Chere Clarke. So cute. 

Ariel and Jordyn came to visit. We got to stay in St. George with them and play. Another one of my bestest friends, Joanne Colemere, has a house in St. George and let us stay there. Such awesome friends I have. Ariel got a cheap ticket into vegas so we stayed in St. George for a week and played. 

Riding bikes and scooters to the pool. We played for hours at the pool everyday. 

Chillin in the pool. I think they might turn into fish. The boys got really good at swimming without their life jackets this week.

Went for a hike. We made it to a cave. It was really fun. We haven't done too many hikes as a family. Missed TJ he had a test he had to get ready for so he couldn't come.
