Aug. 11-12 going home

Monday (11th)

 We look asleep but we are actually looking at each other til the flash went off. 

Her temp stayed normal thru the night. She tested positive for hand. . Foot. Mouth. So everyone at home sanitize like crazy. Don't let boys play with anyone. I'm sure they have it too. Keep an eye on the inside of their mouths and see if they get any sores. One of the docs just came in. They will be meeting with  Dr afifi soon and will let us know what the plan will be for this and when she will be able to get chemo.  

Monday noon:

Docs just came in. So we are here til morning for sure. They want to watch the blood cultures for at least 24 hours to make sure nothing else develops. Brin is still crying that she has to stay. Still trying to help her understand. Told her dad would stop at the toy store and buy her a new princess toy😬 on his way here. Her chemo has been put off til next Monday. They said they are being optimistic😕

Her number has to be upto 750 before they will start her chemo. So we will see. She might go home with iv antibiotics or they might switch her to some oral one. they will decide when they see if her number comes up tomorrow. 

Monday's lunch

So she's eaten 1/2 hamburger. Plate of fries. An entire corn dog. And still wants ramen noodles. I told her we are gonna wait a little while. So this is what she's resorted to. Man she can eat. ;)

Monday's dinner:

So we ordered our desserts and we will order our dinner later. She's licking a bowl of cream. She already ate bacon yes dipping it in the cream. Dad's idea. She ordered a cupcake. Soft pretzel. Cheesecake. Rootbeer float and bacon. Just ordered 5 more bacon. She loves bacon. Best part of hospital stay is getting to order anything she wants whenever she wants. Got to have some kind of benifit. Plus why not the chemo kills everything anyways. So Why not indulge I say. Lol

It was time for dad and Sam to go home. It did not go over well. She was pretty upset and wanted to go home. So she cried for awhile until we had a surprise return from Sam with this pink dog, balloon and some candy and bubble gum (hanging out of her mouth) 

"Thank you daddy and Sammy. I feel much better." Mommy thanks you too. She quit crying. 

So All day she kept saying:

"I'm not sleeping here. "

I'm staying up all night"

"I'm not tired"

......7:15pm..........yay

I'm watching a NON kids movie. Yay!!!!

Monsters university literally 4 x's today.

Tuesday (12th)

               "I'm coming home!!"

 Wish I could post videos to the blog. She can't stop singing. I got a few cute ones. She is just so so happy to be going home. 

  Yay!!!! They are getting us ready now. So I think we will be leaving about noon. She is coming home with IV antibiotics til at least Thursday. She wasn't happy about going home accessed. When they gave her the choice to go home accessed or stay in the hospital longer she gladly chose to go home accessed.  If her ANC is 500 on Thursday then we get to stop the IV antibiotics. Her ANC was 200 this morning so she is finally going up.
