Aug. 13. Re-admitted to the hospital

Brinley's temp has spiked to 102.1. She is being admitted. 😢 

She wanted to wear this hat. Missin hair I think. 

Walking in. I think her expression and body language  says it all. Haha

We got her about 6pm. Her temp was 101.7 when they first checked her. Took awhile to get her checked in. Had some technical difficulties. So bout 30 mins after they took her temp she started shivering so they took it again and it was upto 102.2.  So they got Tylenol in her even though they couldn't get their scanner to work. But no worries they got a new scanner and got everything recorded.  We did finally get all settled in. Brin is doing pretty good attitude wise. Of course not extremely excited to be here but ok. She's not saying I want to go home so that's nice. Instead saying so I think I'm going to stay like one or two weeks (haha translated= she means days) Daddy and TJ gave her a blessing before we left and it's definitely helped her attitude towards coming back. Thankful. 

They dressed her up so she could pick out toys on her own from toy room.  That made her really happy. She was confined to her room last time and this time. Can't spread germs just in case she's still contagious. I completely understand. I wouldn't want my child to catch something at the hospital. Just not so easy to explain to a 4 year old. One of her favorite things here was playing in the toy room. So it's been hard for her not to be able to leave her room. She gets a little bit of cabin fever. 

She ordered her dinner. Bacon. Slice of ham. Grilled cheese sandwich w/tomato soup. Fries and strawberry milkshake. 

We will know more in the morning on how long she will be here. Waiting for some test results.
